Reevestock Music Festival will be held Friday and Saturday.
Reevestock organizers said proceeds for the concert series are being steered toward academic scholarships.
“With the Reeves building purchased privately and being transformed into a music venue, it forced our hand to make a change, but it was a change that we embraced. We feel we can connect with more of the community by offering scholarships and make a difference in more and more kids lives as the festival grows,” said Sam Tayloe of Time Sawyer.
Festivities kick off Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with an optional patio dinner reception at Twenty One and Main. The main event starts at 9 p.m. at 222 Public House. The featured band is Annabelle’s Curse.
Big Daddy Love, a five-piece band with a unique and natural blend of rock, roots and grass that they call “Appalachian Rock” is the headlining band on Saturday. Other performers are Time Sawyer, Luke Mears, Cereus Bright, Matt Phillips & the Philharmonic, and Robert Holthouser. Music starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
