MOUNT AIRY — WorkForce Unlimited, a local full service employment firm, was recognized Sept. 24, as one of the 50 Fastest Growing, privately held businesses in the Triad.
The event was held at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, and Mike Brannock, CEO of WorkForce Unlimited, accepted the award on behalf of the firm. The Business Journal has sponsored the Fast 50 event for 16 years and this is the seventh time WorkForce Unlimited has ranked in the Fast 50.
A business must be a private, for profit, venture; be headquartered in the Triad ; and have completed three full years in business with annual revenue of at least $2 million. The CPA firm, Smith Leonard, confidentially reviews the financial statements of participating companies in order to determine the fastest growing businesses.

Headquartered in Mount Airy, WorkForce Unlimited was founded by Lewis in 1987 and has 10 offices across the Triad and in southern Virginia. The firm provides employment services to businesses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
