“This contest is always a big hit with the community,” said Elkin Tribune and Yadkin Ripple Editor Wendy Byerly Wood. “It brings families and friends together to support the kids, and it brings business to the sponsors of the contest. There are definitely some cute kids in the Elkin, Jonesville and Yadkin areas.”

Tribune and Ripple General Manager and Media Director Holly Lamm expressed her thanks to Walmart of Elkin and the category sponsors for their contributions to the contest that make it a reality.

“We want to thank the sponsors, because without them this contest would not be possible,” Lamm said, urging community members to offer their appreciation to the sponsors when they see them as well.
