Mountain Valley Hospice to distribute free Christmas trees

Staff Report

Mountain Valley Hospice recently received a shipment of artificial Christmas trees, courtesy of Walmart of Elkin. Now, Mountain Valley Hospice wants to share those trees with the community in need.

“We are so grateful for the gift of the Christmas trees which we are offering to the families of our hospice patients and families and community members who may need a little help this Christmas season. Yes, we are giving them away to deserving families in our area,” said Sheila Jones, director of Marketing for Mountain Valley Hospice.

If you know of a family in the Wilkes, Yadkin or Elkin area who is in need of a Christmas tree, visit www.mtnvalleyhospice.org or www.facebook.com/mtnvalleyhospice/ to obtain a request form. Request forms must be returned to Mountain Valley Hospice by Dec. 13 to be entered into the giveaway. The request forms can be dropped off at 688 N. Bridge St., Elkin, faxed to 336-526-2370 or emailed to hospice@mtnvalleyhospice.org.

Visit Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care’s Facebook page for more information, or call Brett Willis or Sheila Jones at 336-526-2650.
