The Trojans won in three sets. They took the first set with a score of 13-25, the second 12-25, and the third 16-25.
“We have a talented group of kids, we just have to create the energy on the court,” said coach Sheila Holloway.
The Cardinals came out flat against the Trojans and a lack of on-court communication led to missed serves and net violations.
“In game one alone, we had five net violations and four missed serves. Thats nine points we basically gave them,” Holloway said.
The Cardinals will attempt to rebound after the loss to Alleghany at Wilkes Central on Thursday afternoon.
