Mrs. Allred was born July 17, 1924, in Rhode Island to the late John and Cora Gorton Futreal. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allred was preceded in death by her husband Russell Allred; four brothers; and four sisters.
Mrs. Allred is survived by a daughter, Tammy A. Schuyler of Thurmond; two grandchildren, Brittany Rector, Amber Peeples; two great-grandchildren, Conner Schuyler and Taylor Schuyler; also several loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, with Rev. John Attaway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
