East Wilkes’ defensive player Jordan Stamper heads the ball on a kick. Stamper held the ground against several East Surry offensive pushes during Wednesday’s half of the game. The game was put on a 45 minute rain delay just before half time. East Surry had scored two goals, one of which on a handball penalty kick, and the other on a break away. The game will resume this evening at 6:30 p.m. with 20 seconds remaining in the first half., with East Surry leading 2-0.
