Dezern-Pronti wed in evening ceremony in Huntersville

Abby Leigh Dezern and Greg Thomas Pronti exchanged vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Northstone Country Club in Huntersville. Robin Vann officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Dezern of Hamptonville and the granddaughter of Shelby Vestal and the late William Vestal and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dezern. She is a graduate of UNC Charlotte and is employed by Lowe’s Companies, Inc.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pronti and the late Zoe Pronti of Lansing, N.Y. He is the grandson of Aurora Minter, the late Mr. and Mrs James Sherman, and the late Richard Pronti. He is a graduate of Cornell University and is employed by Litex Industries, Inc.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Karin Ladd of Hamptonville. Maid of honor was Mary Todd Moseley of Denver, Colo. Bridesmaids were Anastasia Giannikas of Charlotte, Stephanie Harris of Lowell, Abby Heubaum of Granite Falls, Jennifer Lampert of Stokesdale and Rachel Pronti and Meghan Pronti, both of Lansing and nieces of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Eva Zoe Pronti of Victor, N.Y., niece of the groom.

Flower girls were Kali Dezern of Jonesville, niece of the bride, and Maia Pronti of Victor, niece of the groom.

Best man was Jim Pronti of Victor, brother of the groom. Ushers were Scott Pronti of Lansing, brother of the groom, Samuel Dezern of Jonesville, brother of the bride, Nick Lcopardi of New York, N.Y., Jesse Miller of Fort Mill, S.C., Doug Robichaud of Charlotte, Mark Van Epern of Huntersville and Tim Wright of Lansing.

Readers were Kelly Pronti and Michelle Pronti, sisters-in-law of the groom.

Flowers were furnished by Boonville Flower & Decor, and the wedding cake was provided by D & F Catering of East Bend.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Northstone Country Club.

After a wedding trip to Italy, the couple will reside in Charlotte.
