Two men have been arrested in conjunction with a break in and larceny charges.
The charges came after an Aug. 23 report of a break in on Bethel Church Road in Yadkinville.
According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office a family member of the victim had witnessed two males at the residence removing items.
The press release added that earlier the same day deputies had received a call in reference to the same two males selling items matching the items taken from the house.
After an investigation Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office have charged Joseph Daniel Verbos, 21, and Austin Trey Spillman, 23, with one felony count of breaking and entering, one felony count of larceny after breaking and entering, and one felony count of obtaining property by false pretenses.
Both men are listed in the release as residents of Yadkinville.
Verbos also received a misdemeanor charge of resisting a public officer.
Verbos was placed under a $50,000 secured bond. Spillman was placed under a $2,500 secured bond.
