Vote for cutest pet in Tribune contest

July 24, 2013

It’s here again. The annual Pet Photo Contest is starting and submissions are beginning to come in.

Submissions run from July 22 through September 9. Voting begins July 29 and will run until September 9.

Go to The Tribune’s website and click on the “Cutest Pets” link to the right to view other pet submissions, to vote, or to add a picture of your own pet to submit for the contest.

Register through the website or sign up using your Facebook account so your friends can see your activity.

Each picture is given a title and description and includes the submitter’s username, city and state.

Contestants must be 18 years old and may submit multiple entries. Only the owner of the pet may submit the subject of the photo, so do not steal your neighbor’s dog to take a quick photo!

Each user account requires a valid email address. Each account can place five votes in a 24 hour period.

View the entries and vote for your favorite before it’s too late. Submissions and voting can occur any time inside the dates above.

One grand prize winner will receive $250.

This year’s sponsor is the Animal Ark Veterinary Hospital in Elkin.

Official rules can be found at the bottom of the contest’s site.
