Elkin High School’s Future Farmers of America program will be holding a spring plant sale.
The sale runs from April 10 through April 19 at the high school’s greenhouse on Vine Street.
Vine Street is off of West Main Street.
Hours are from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m..
The sale is an annual event the FFA does to raise money for the Elkin Chapter.
The students from Horticulture I and II, with assistance from agricultural teacher Coach Clarence Edwards, took time out of class to plant the seeds, according to Morgan Minton of Elkin High.
The sale includes various herbs, vegetables, flowers, and ornamental fruit trees. Prices will vary depending on the plant type.
