A Dobson resident faces 28 total counts after several ounces of cocaine were found during a drug investigation, Surry County deputies said.
Ricardo Delgadillo, 47, is charged with 18 counts of trafficking cocaine by possession, sale, delivery and manufacture; five counts of maintaining a drug house and five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigators found more than 6 ounces of cocaine in Delgadillo’s vehicle on Monday and an additional 3 ounces in his home at 106 Memphis Lane, deputies said.
Undercover officers had bought cocaine from Delgadillo multiple times over a three-month period, deputies said.
Delgadillo was held under a $500,000 bond in the Surry County Jail. Multiple sources at the Surry County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the mugshot posted above is of Ricardo Delgadillo.
The cocaine was likely made in Colombia, deputies said. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials assisted in the investigation and are working to determine Delgadillo’s citizenship status.
